We are all absolutely devastated at the sudden loss of Alan...our hearts are breaking for each and everyone of you. Oh Edie if only I could have been there with you to share your pain. Jodie what a beautiful tribute to your baby brother...so proud of you.

My memories of Alan are many but one which stands out is when he was about 14 I think and his cousins James 15 and Nicky 13 (I think) I took them to Movie World at the Gold Coast as a treat (Alan was spending some time with us at Jimboomba (Brisbane)....well we all dressed up in period costume and had our photo taken...it was a photo I treasured and took pride and place on my wall unit...Sadly it was lost in the Brisbane Floods of 2011 but I have it ingrained in my memory. Rest In Peace nephew....you will be so very sadly missed by all your beautiful family. Love always...Auntie Mal xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Alan, I can not believe you are no longer in this world, the years we had together I will cherish always, you, forever held a special place in my heart, and watching you make this beautiful family with Kathryn and your boys was magical it’s all you ever wanted,
