Para você, querida e amada Sônia e, todos aqueles que sofrem com sua partida, deixo este texto atribuído a Santo Agostinho, para reflexão e como expressão das minhas mais sinceras condolências:
"A morte não é nada.
Eu somente passei
para o outro lado do Caminho.
Eu sou eu, vocês são vocês.
O que eu era para vocês,
eu continuarei sendo.
Me dêem o nome
que vocês sempre me deram,
falem comigo
como vocês sempre fizeram.
Vocês continuam vivendo
no mundo das criaturas,
eu estou vivendo
no mundo do Criador.
Não utilizem um tom solene
ou triste, continuem a rir
daquilo que nos fazia rir juntos.
Rezem, sorriam, pensem em mim.
Rezem por mim.
Que meu nome seja pronunciado
como sempre foi,
sem ênfase de nenhum tipo.
Sem nenhum traço de sombra
ou tristeza.
A vida significa tudo
o que ela sempre significou,
o fio não foi cortado.
Porque eu estaria fora
de seus pensamentos,
agora que estou apenas fora
de suas vistas?
Eu não estou longe,
apenas estou
do outro lado do Caminho…
Você que aí ficou, siga em frente,
a vida continua, linda e bela
como sempre foi.”
(Santo Agostinho)
In loving memory of Sonia.
We will always have the lasting memories of your beautiful smile, your warm, friendly and generous nature.
We will remember you always.
“On that day when I see
All that You have for me
When I see You face to face
There, surrounded by Your grace
All my fears swept away
In the light of your embrace
Where Your love is all I need
And forever I am free
Where the streets are made of gold
In Your presence heal then hold
Let these songs of heaven rise to you alone
No weeping, no hurt or pain
No suffering
You hold me now, You hold me now
And no darkness
No sick or lame, no hiding
You hold me now, You hold me now” (Song: You hold me now, by Hillsong)
It’s beyond our understanding: the loss, the pain and suffering, but what comforts us is the hope of heaven!
Sonia and I listened to the above song together on a Christian Conference. Then we just sang the lyrics, now Sonia lives it in heaven.
My especial love and prayers go to Luiz, Neusa, Sophia and Jay and is extended to all the family.
Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Sonia. May she rest in peace . Descanse em paz.
The Antonio Family
Sincere condolences to the family and friends of Sonia, may her beautiful soul Rest in Peace ✝️🕊️❤️
Our condolences to all the family.
Rest in Peace dear Sonia.
To Sonia’s beloved children, grandchildren, parents, siblings, family & friends
I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Sonia from high school (DHS) & was grateful that we managed to reconnect on Facebook in the last decade. Occasionally we would chat either through comments on posts or via DM. We never got the chance to catch up in person & my second last message to her was hoping the next time I travelled to Sydney that we might catch up at the airport but alas not to be.
She will always be remembered for the beautiful person she was inside & out and she was a special person.
I was devastated to see the post of her passing as I had no idea she had been unwell & wish I had known. I will miss her fb posts of her travel & of her family whom she loved deeply & dearly.
Until we meet again, Sonia will always be in my thoughts & remembered.
