In the short time we knew Uncle Chris, we became close and enjoyed each others company with much laughter, banter, and of course food.
His wicked sense of humour always kept us entertained. Last night, when I was going through all our messages to each other, I feel blessed and honoured to have known such a man. Words cannot describe how much he will be missed, and one thing is for sure, the memory of him will stay with us forever. RIP our dearest uncle.

In remembrance of Uncle Chris, a remarkable man, we find joy amidst our grief. He was more than a friend, an advisor whose teachings will echo through our lives. He reflected my father's qualities: listening intently, safeguarding secrets, and offering candid advice. When confusion clouded our paths, he, like the Good Shepherd, illuminated the way.

His humor was his soul's fabric, much like his favorite grey sweater. The infectious laughter that accompanied his stories, even in our somber moments, will be remembered. The insightful conversations over tea, the biryanis and chutneys sampled at our family restaurant, are etched in our memories. His presence brought a comforting assurance.

Though his absence leaves a void, we recognize the indelible impact he's left. A well-wisher, friend, food critic, and honorary uncle to all, we're grateful for his time with us. His wisdom, charm, integrity, and culinary tastes remain woven into our lives.

In honoring him, we carry forward his laughter, love, and life lessons. He let his light shine bright, and though his physical presence is no more, his soul remains immortal in the love and memories we share. His memory will resurface in every cup of tea, every bite of rava dosa, and every hearty laugh.

Uncle Chris, thank you. You leave behind an irreplaceable void, but also a treasure of memories. May you rest in peace. Your light will forever guide us.
